AI consultant for small businesses · Danville and the East Bay

One bottleneck at a time, built with you.

LeadJens is an AI consulting practice in Danville, California. Most of my clients are real estate professionals, and I also work with selected local businesses across the East Bay that have one clear problem worth solving. The service is LeadJens Liaison. If a term is new, see the glossary, and for dated results, see the proof page.

How much does an AI consultant cost?

At LeadJens, every project is scoped and quoted before any work starts, and the fee is flat. LeadJens is paid for the work, never by a share of your sales. The usual first step is a 90-minute AI intensive at $750: we pick the one workflow that would save you the most time, build it together, and you leave with it working. If you want to keep going and learn to run AI yourself, that session credits toward the six-session AI Operator Intensive, if you continue within 14 days, at its $3,600 launch price. Larger builds are quoted per project. Every published plan is on the services page.

What does an AI consultant do for a small business?

Finds the one task that costs you the most hours or the most revenue, and builds a system that handles it. The work usually lands in one of these:

  • A workflow built with you. Follow-up, intake, reporting or scheduling prep, built around how your business already works.
  • A focused 90-minute session. One problem, one working fix, in a single sitting.
  • Getting found when customers ask AI. Whether ChatGPT and Google's AI can read your site, plus Google Business Profile cleanup.

Who is this for, and who isn't it for?

It's for experienced owners with one specific, repeated problem who want to stay the face of their business. Real estate professionals are my main focus. Owners of other high-trust local practices, such as attorneys, fiduciaries and selected medical and wellness practices, can be a good fit, and I decide that case by case on a first call.

It isn't a fit if:

  • there's no specific problem yet, only a sense that you "should be doing AI";
  • the job needs a software team or a new data platform;
  • you want AI to send messages to your clients without a person reviewing them;
  • you want AI to give legal, financial or medical advice to your customers.

What does this look like outside home sales?

Spencer Jenkins put it in his own words in a verified Google review. He brought AI and automation into his sales development work in commercial real estate:

“Since then, way less manual busywork and more time actually selling.”

“Jens knows his stuff, explains things simply, and was super responsive the whole way through.”

Andrew Guglielmi runs a property management business in San Mateo. He went from no website of his own and no Google Business Profile to his first lead from an AI search in 18 days. The full timeline is in the case study.

Where are you based?

Danville, California. LeadJens works with businesses across Contra Costa County, including Danville, Alamo, San Ramon, Walnut Creek and Lafayette, and with real estate professionals beyond it. The first step is a free 15-minute call to decide together whether a project makes sense.

Questions owners ask about AI consulting

What is an AI business consultant?

An AI business consultant helps an owner decide where AI is worth using in their business and then sets it up. A good one starts with your bottleneck instead of a tool, builds something you understand, and leaves you in control of what goes to your customers. At LeadJens that means one problem at a time, scoped and quoted first.

What is the best AI agent for a small business?

The best one handles a job you already do the same way every week, such as follow-up, intake or a weekly report, and reports what it did. Start with one. If a product promises to run your customer conversations for you, ask who reads the messages before they go out. The plain-English guide to what an AI agent is applies to any business.

Can I just ask ChatGPT to recommend my business?

You can ask, but what it says depends on what it can find and confirm about you across the web: consistent business details, reviews it can read and a site that answers real questions. Asking it to recommend you doesn't change that. A 15-minute call is enough to look at what it says about your business today and what's missing from the public record.

Is my business data safe if we use AI?

It's a worry many owners raise, and a fair one. Before anything is connected, we agree on what each system may read and what it may never touch. We give each system the narrowest access that does the job, use business plans with data controls, and keep customer messages under your review.

Do I need to be technical to work with an AI consultant?

No. You describe the problem the way you'd explain it to a new hire, and I translate it into the system. I'm not a developer by background; I built every system I run in my own business from a standing start, which is why each step gets explained in plain language as we go.
